Formed in 2004, Liz Levin Interiors is the culmination of a lifelong passion for the decorative arts. What began as Liz’s obsessive styling of Barbie dream houses evolved into a real world, ‘follow-your-bliss’ dream job in design. A seasoned artist, Liz’s need for a creative outlet led her to the dynamic world of advertising, where she honed her skills in production and developed an eye for the graphic arts and visual presentation. Despite thriving at Adworks, something else was calling. Following a stint at the Corcoran College of Art + Design, Liz moved to London, where she gained experience in fashion and the arts. Upon returning to DC, Liz dove headfirst into her design career.

Craving immediate hands-on work, Liz worked two internships: one with designer Kelley Proxmire, the other learning the ropes at Scalamandré.

Liz’s big break arrived when she was hired as the first in-house design consultant for the hip, home furnishings shop Vastu. There she found the ideal setting for her blossoming relationship with interiors. Vastu’s infinite and custom furniture options allowed Liz the freedom to design creative interiors for her clients.
